The course "Advanced Transportation Systems" deals with the advanced transportation systems which are a useful tool for managing transport and information technologies in public transportation systems. The purpose of these systems is to increase the efficiency of their activities and improve transport safety.
|
The aim of the course is the assimilation of concepts and functions (of supply and demand) used in transportation, as well as the solving of road network (in series or in parallel) which is in equilibrium, using various methods (All-OR-Nothing, Capacity-Restraint, Grinding, Incremental Assignment, Convex Combinations).
|
Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) are a dynamic sector with strong development dimensions, combining information and communication technologies , providing high added value for the users of transport and making transport more secure, efficient and environmentally friendly.
|
The objective of this course is the analysis of transportation demand and the understanding of the curve of demand. Further analyse the elasticity of demand and expressed mathematically utility by utility function. Also, curves shown indifference. It shows the utility function as the carrier selection tool in function of the independent variables, cost and time. Finally, the model is used two values LOGIT as a tool for assessing the usefulness of systemic means.

Every construction project is composed of a sequence of unique, interrelated and complex activities (activities) aimed at achieving a specific purpose. The application of scientific methods of construction management
in temporal and financial planning of construction projects,
presupposes a correct assessment of the cost and duration of each activity and resources needed for its implementation. So, the need of selection of the most appropriate construction activity method using the suitable construction equipment and methods as well as its operation analysis.
The course of "Construction Equipment and Construction Methods" aims to familiarize the
discipline of Engineering Construction through:
1. the presentation of basic and construction machinery operation.
2. development of methodology of operation analysis with illustrative examples.
3. description and analysis of manufacturing processes of simple and complex projects (e.g. bridges, tunnels).
