The content of the course, Techniques & Materials Painting, Printmaking and Casts divided into three sections:
a) The learning techniques, in terms paintings of all surfaces (paper, canvas, wooden body, etc.). With the appropriate processing and use of all materials such as water soluble (tempera, gouache, watercolor, oil, pastels, etc).
b) the learning of techniques making prints and metallic and wooden surfaces (classical techniques of engraving).
c) The construction embossed or sculpted decorative pattern or mask and copy using the template.

Το μάθημα αποτελεί το βασικό εισαγωγικό μάθημα στις έννοιες του πολιτισμικού λογισμικού και των μεθόδων που χρησιμοποιείται για την ανάπτυξη και την αξιολόγησή του από επιστήμονες του πολιτισμού.
Επιπλέον, το μάθημα περιλαμβάνει έναν κύκλο θεωρητικών και εργαστηριακών μαθημάτων, για την εισαγωγή του σπουδαστή σε έννοιες δημιουργίας και διαχείρισης βάσεων δεδομένων. Στο θεωρητικό μέρος του μαθήματος γίνεται μια εισαγωγή στις βάσεις δεδομένων και τα συστήματα διαχείρισης βάσεων δεδομένων (Ιστορική αναδρομή, Βασικές έννοιες, Αρχιτεκτονική και μοντέλα δεδομένων, Σχεσιακό μοντέλο δεδομένων και σχεσιακή άλγεβρα, Αντικειμενοστρεφές μοντέλο δεδομένων). Επιπλέον, οι σπουδαστές μαθαίνουν πώς να οργανώνουν τα πολιτιστικά δεδομένα που συγκεντρώνουν σε μια βάση δεδομένων καθώς και η γλώσσα ερωτημάτων SQL. Στο εργαστηριακό μέρος του μαθήματος οι φοιτητές εξοικειώνονται με τη δημιουργία μικρών βάσεων πολιτιστικών δεδομένων καθώς και με τη σχεδίαση ερωτημάτων επιλογής και ενεργειών προκειμένου να έχουν τη δυνατότητα επεξεργασίας αυτών των δεδομένων.
