Bioinformatics Trias Thireou - Undergraduate - (A-) Bioinformatics, Agricultural University Of Athens The course is designed to introduce the most important and basic concepts, methods, and tools used in Bioinformatics. Emphasis will be put on the understanding and utilization of these concepts and algorithms. The objective is to help the students to reach rapidly the frontier of bioinformatics and be able to use the bioinformatics tools to solve the problems on their own research.

Biochemistry Grigorios Diamantidis - Undergraduate - (A-) Agriculture, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki The course aims at introducing the science of biochemistry. Among the topics that the course addresses are included the amino acids, proteins, peptide chains, enzyme inhibitors, amino acid composition, and protein composition. The module also deals with DNA metabolism, energy metabolism, oxygen metabolism, and lipid metabolism. Finally, the course offers a detailed description of the processes of carbohydrate degradation and carbohydrate composition.
