Social simulations appear in the early 60s but they become truly wide spread in the early 90s. The personal computer enables social scientists to "test" their ideas and to verify their affairs. In this course we present the schools that have dominated in the firmament of social simulations and the new point of view they are aspiring to introduce to the social sciences.
