The course is intended to examine the history of Hellenic Greek poetry, starting from the epic of Digenis Akritis (10th century) and ending with the poetry of the “generation of K.G. Karyotakis”, thus approximately at the end of the third decade of the 20th century.
Cultivation of the students' critical thinking, learning of the methods of approach of literary texts, understanding of the historical multi-level nature of literature.
