The course aims to emphasize the plastic possibilities and technical characteristics of video (merged into a wider and more complex set of related media) to be used as an art genre for the implementation of artworks. The emphasis is on familiarity with the medium, the approach methodology, the creative process and the formatting personal expression and authentic artistic proposal by the students. During the semester, are offered lectures and presentations about the requested themes and also presentations about the work of various visual artists. The course continues at the 6th semester with Video art- Audiovisual mediums III.
The course continues Video art- Audiovisual mediums I. Attempts to emphasize more on issues concerning both the aesthetic and the technical aspects, in all phases of production and realization: from the first idea, to the final visualization (scenario, scenes, shots, decoupage, story -board, shots, sound, etc.), the selection and processing of the footage, also the course examine various editing strategies.
