“Organic chemistry II” describes some very important classes of organic compounds (as amines, phenols, carbonyl compounds, aromatic and heterocyclic compounds etc), their physical and chemical properties, and their reaction mechanisms. In addition, it describes their synthesis, several chemical transformations and their significance in life, as some of them are biologically active compounds.
Benzene, aromaticity, electrophilic aromatic substitution, nucleophilic aromatic substitution, amines, phenols, polycyclic aromatic compounds, heterocyclic compounds, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids, carboxylic acid derivatives.
