The course aims to familiarize students with management accounting as a business decision making tool short and long term in nature, be able to solve a series of exercises and practical applications related to budgeting, conduct Budgeting control, costing and decisions related to finance, operations, treasury operations and partial performance of an enterprise.

Syllabus

The course is a basic introduction to the concepts of management accounting. This course aims to introduce students to the methods and procedures for the selection of accounting information for business decision making, budgeting, pricing products and services, the planning, administration, daily operations and control of business plans. Upon completion of the course the student is able to: Understand the basic concepts of costing Applies the main costing methods used by industrial enterprises Resolves problems related to cost allocation Calculate and compare the actual with the budgeted cost and standard Apply in practice the administrative control Applies the cost-volume-profit
