Evaluation and analysis of muscle force and power

Description and assessment of muscle force and power evaluation protocols.

Objectives

The objective of this course is learning: (a) The methodology for assessing muscle strength and power (b) How to design protocols for measuring and evaluating muscle performance. (c) The underlying mechanisms, which are responsible for muscle force production. The course includes lectures, taking place at the auditorium of the department as well as laboratory courses for practical application of the theory at the laboratory on an isokinetic dynamometer.
