QUANTUM MECHANICS I

Schrodinger' s equation solution for a variety of systems and comprehension of statistical interpretation of quantum mechanics.

Objectives

The course aims at providing the student with the knowledge to apply the quantum mechanical methods to quantitative and qualitative problems of quantum mechanics.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of mathematics, general physics, waves and modern physics.

Syllabus

The course provides the student with the knowledge to solve Schrodinger' s equation in three dimensions and be able to find the wavefunction for specific boundary conditions.
