Advanced Topics in Teaching Physics


In this course systematic processing of basic theoretical concepts of Science Education is carried out and is also attempted the presentation of their applications at all the educational levels.


Objectives

The systematic processing of basic concepts of the Didactics of Natural Sciences and their application in the educational reality issues of all school levels.


Prerequisites

Requires prior good performance in the compulsory subject "Physics Education for Early Childhood " and certainly previous selection and successful completion of at least one of the two electives "Specific Topics in Physics Education for Early Childhood " and "Activities of the World of Physics for Kindergarten ".


Syllabus

The broad themes approached in this course are as follows: Teaching in the traditional Pedagogy. The establishment of modern Science Teaching. The social and cultural dimensions of the teaching of Science. Deepening the fundamental concepts of Science Teaching. Extended applications and examples from a variety of special teaching subject.
