Operational research in Agriculture

Upon completion of the course are expected to have knowledge of the theory and you will be familiar with techniques and mathematical models so you can take quick, informed decisions and to effectively manage a wide range of business problems. You will also be able to explore, to quantify and evaluate micro-economic models for analyzing decisions, understanding the relationship of the description of economic reality to what is needed in business The course can be divided into four main sections: (a) Mathematical Programming (a) Programming project (c) Multicriteria Analysis and (d) Decision making under uncertainty, for each section you will learn the basic theoretical concepts will work on applied problems and in some of these will be familiar with software that facilitates the resolution of related problems.
