Studio 2 - Σχέδιο Χρώμα ΙΙ [Open]

Studio 2 will develop in theory and practice. Students firstly need to expertise the ability to analyze a picture to its visual elements and reconstruct it again. Teaching develops in both fields of theory and practice, so the students may acquire knowledge of the rules (on structure, rhythm, layout and use of color) and practice creating their own compositions applying varied materials and techniques in two or three dimensions(drawing, mixed media, printing).

Objectives

The objectives of Studio 2 is the recognition of how students can create and propose novel ideas based on their abilities and practice-based skills in order to create and formulate their ideas in aesthetically acceptable proposals.

Syllabus

In Drawing studio II students develop basic drawing skills through sketches and life-drawing sessions and implement approach, analysis and design methods. Study issues include techniques for rendering 3-dimensional volumes, structures of geometrical solids, objects in perspective, compositions with organic forms, expressiveness of the line. By the end of the course students can perceive and sketch with relative speed and accuracy images of real or fictional 3-dimensional spaces and objects.
