Solar Panels, Solar Energy Applications Covering thermal load. Photovoltaic Effect, Photovoltaic Energy Production. Introduction to Agricultural Greenhouses. Systems for the Production and utilization of Biomass. Energy from Biomass.


Objectives

To introduce students to mild and renewable energy, while understanding the basic advantages and disadvantages, and their main applications. Further attempts and presentation of the key energy conversion principles that accompanies every mild form of energy, and an introductory financial and technical approach.
