Studio Α - Ελεύθερο σχέδιο [Open]

Students in Studio 0 courses should develop basic drawing skills through sketches and life-drawing sessions and implement approach, analysis and design methods. Study issues include techniques for rendering 3-dimensional volumes, structures of geometrical solids, objects in perspective, compositions with organic forms, expressiveness of the line.

Syllabus

The Course’s framework will include the analysis of Drawing elements, as line, hue, form, subject-space relation, proportions. Exercises on observation and study of virtual reality will reveal the richness and complexity of the painterly act and will sharpen the students’ vision as well as broaden their conceptual ways. Basic principles of color and their reference to relative theories will assist the students to comprehend the language and possibilities of color
