Entrepreneurship


The course adopts an interdisciplinary perspective in the study of entrepreneurship. It combines theory with history and practice. It focuses on the Greek case and examines entreprenurship in various areas of the Greek economy. It encompasses personal testimonies of entrepreneurs and gives practical advice as to how to create a start-up.


Objectives

Τhe comprehension of the basic methods and tools in the study of entrepreneurship from a theoretical,historical and empirical perspective. Also a familiarity with the multiple shapes entrepreneurship can take and the significance of ‘productive’ entrepreneurship for economic development. Our overall aim id for the student to have the knowledge basis for a further specialization in study of entrepreneurship and or an increased ability to undertake an initiative for an entrepreneurial idea and its implementation.
