Quality Management

IQuality, specifications and tolerances. Quality control. Statistics in production (Histogram, distribution, normal distribution, distribution of the mean value of small samples). Meaning and the techniques of preliminary quality control (control charts, natural tolerances). Preliminary quality control by variables and by attributes. Comparison of the above techniques. Acceptance sampling by attributes (operating characteristic curve, acceptance quality level, rejectable quality level, average outgoing quality, average outgoing quality limit, acceptance quality control systems by attributes) acceptance quality control by variables (sample size, criteria). Quality control in the factory. Reliability. Average life and failure rate.Acceptance sampling by measuring the average life and the failure rate. (Characteristic curve, acceptance quality level, rejectable quality level). Quality management systems. Documentation requirements, document control – quality records. Management responsibility. Resource management. Product realization, design and development, purchasing, production and service provision, product identification and traceability, purchaser supplied product, control of monitoring and measuring devices. Monitoring and measurement, control of nonconforming product, internal audit. Certification agencies and Quality management system’s certification.

Objectives

The main purpose of this course is to familiarize students with the main methods / techniques of quality management. Upon completion of the course students will be able to engage in the development and implementation of quality management systems certified in accordance with the requirements of standard ISO9001: 2008.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Syllabus

Quality and standards. Quality Control. The statistical production (sychnogramma, distributions, normal distribution, distribution averaging samples). Concept and technical screening (checkpoints physical tolerances). Screening measurements, with sorting and comparison. Sampling acknowledgment (receipt) by screening (characteristic curve, acceptable quality level, standardized sampling system acceptance by screening). Sampling acknowledgment (receipt) measurements (sample size and acceptance criteria). Ensuring quality in the business. Quality management systems. Documentation Forms control file. Management responsibility, resource management, planning, purchasing, production, traceability and identity performance, client ownership, control and monitoring equipment for measuring, monitoring and measurement of product, control of nonconforming product, internal audit, administration and maintenance of the Certificate System quality.
