Digital Systems

Teaching the basic concepts necessary for the study and design of simple digital circuits combinational, sequential, mixed or programmable logic. Learning is achieved through study, analysis and design of actual applications

Objectives

On successful completion of this module the student will be able to: 1) Know the numerical systems and their applications in personal computers. 2) Analyze, design and implement combinational and sequential digital circuits and determine their function. 3) Be able to plan and use logic gates, combinational logic diagrams and sequential logic diagrams with flip- flop. 4) Analyze, design and implement Standardized digital circuits 5) Analyze, design and implement circuits using modern high- integration circuits (PAL, PLD, etc.)

Prerequisites

None.
