Microeconomics


This course examines the productive potential of society, the theory of supply and demand, the elasticity of supply and demand, the theory of consumer behaviour, the theory of production, the behaviour of enterprises in perfect competition in pure monopoly, oligopoly and monopolistic competition.


Objectives

In this lesson discusses the productive potential of society, the theory of supply and demand, elasticity of demand and supply, the theory of consumer behavior, theory of production, theory of production costs, the conduct of business in full competition , in pure monopoly to oligopoly, in monopolistic competition. Upon successful completion of this course, the student should: 1. Be able to analyze a multitude of microeconomic problems related business 2. To use the basic tools of microeconomic analysis at an introductory level 3. Describe and explain the functioning of markets and the behavior of consumers and producers
