Developmental Psychology I


This course aims at the comprehensive outline of the development path of human beings from birth until the end of infancy. Initially , it exposes the story, the basic principles and the particular perspective of Developmental Psychology, its scope and methods. The topics covered are: A. Infancy: Perceptual and motor development Cognitive and emotional development Development of interaction and relationships with others B. Infancy: Cognitive development with emphasis on the development of symbolic thinking and understanding of the mind lingual development Emotional development and understanding Development of interaction and relationships with parents, siblings and peers Development of the game
