Aims Students learn how to use financial analysis for control, financial programming, choices of financing and the effect of capital structure on the value of the stock and the dividend policy.

Use of financial programming. Financial and Operational leverage. Break even point. Use of financial ratios in the evaluation of firm performance. Capital structure and how it affects the value of the stock. Optimal capital structure. Risk measurement and cost of capital. Short term and long term financial planning. Management of Working Capital. Dividend policy. Venture Capital, Leasing, Mergers and Acquisitions. Sources of financing.
