Statistics I


The aim of the course is the introduction of Statistics to the student providing the basics to them so after that to be able to use it as a research tool of doing business or marketing research. This course analyzes issues of descriptive and inferential statistics.


Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, the student should: 1. Understand the role and statistical applications, particularly in economic problems. 2. Understand the basic statistical concepts and the natural interpretation of statistical aggregates. 3. To apply simple statistical methodology and to understand and interpret statistical findings. 4.Member States uses specialized statistical analysis software for the analysis of real (major) problems.

STATISTICS I (1/4) Distribution t - Student. Checks Statistical Affairs. Statistical process control of a case. Check the difference of two means. Sampling Distribution of difference between two sample means. Space dispute trust two media figures. Check Affairs. STATISTICS I (2/4) Checking assumptions for average observations in pairs. Confidence intervals for proportions. Proportion of Population. Confidence interval for proportions. STATISTICS I (3/4) Normal distribution. Confidence interval for the difference of two proportions. Confidence interval for the variance. Checking assumptions proportions. STATISTICS I (4/4) Checking the variance. Econometrics. Manufacturing process and control model. Linear regression. Simple linear regression equation. Method of least squares.
