Financial Statetment Analysis


Financial Statement Analysis contains information that helps analysts infer the fundamental value. Analysts must appreciate what financial statements are saying and what they are not saying in order to valuate and evaluate firms. The analysis and the interpretation of the accounting information which is included in financial statements is the main purpose of this course. Shareholders, investors, security analysts, managers, employees, leaders, suppliers, creditors, customers, government and regulatory agencies, academics financial analysts and auditors to know how to read, analyze and interpreted the financial statements due to evaluate cash flow, profitability, effectiveness, capital structure, liquidity, evidence for financial distress of firms. Competing successfully this course student will be able to: - Understand and manage the content of financial statements - Analyze accounting information using indices a - Implement financial formulas for the prediction of financial distress - Prepare financial statements - Evaluate the creditability of firms using accounting information - Analyze firms’ cash flow
