Welcome to the course "Supply Chain". In this course the following notions will be examined: Structure of the supply chain. Purchasing - Production - Distribution. Inventories and statistical inventory control. Circular stock and safety stock. Demand Management and Forecast. Inventories in the supply chain. DRP (Distribution Requirements Planning) and ECR (Efficient Consumer Response). Importance of physical distribution and transport. Transportation and Supplies. Multi-modal and Intermodal Transport. Negotiations with carriers. Assessment of carriers. Packaging products and the importance of transport. Transport of dangerous cargo. Insurance products during transport. Information technology in transport. Costing transport. Distribution objectives. Relationship Marketing and distribution. Customer service and distribution. Channels of distribution. Design of distribution network. Distribution themselves or through third parties. Loads Monadopoiisi. Modern ecological packaging systems. Standardization of transmission and distribution facilities. Specifications and distribution processes. Routing and scheduling. Planning routes and geographical areas. Algorithms distribution. Supply chain management game (Beer Game).
