Τhe Modern Greek Language teaching in Primary School


The curriculum and syllabus for teaching the Modern Greek language at the Primary School refers to many topics of the linguistic theory, of Pragmatics (speech acts), discourse and text analysis (text types, organization of the text, style), (Mental) Lexicon theory (semantic fields, vocabulary growth), etc. Purpose of this course is to present these topics of the linguistic theory and to explore their effective application to the language lesson in relation to language skills (reading comprehension, speaking, listening and writing).
