The aim of the course is to develop the conceptual and theoretical background and to analyze the contemporary practices of human resources management in enterprises and organizations. The course emphasizesthe meaning and the importance of human resource management.Core topics of the course are: the human resources management system and its organization, the process of employee search and selection, training and development of human resources, support,and motivation assessment and compensation systems of employees.


Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course , the student should: 1. Be able to understand the importance ofmanaging human resources in the efficient operation of modern enterprises and organizations. 2. Know the specific HRM functions and models. The student should have developed the skills to evaluate current HRM trends, strategies and practices which are applied to help the achievement of organizational goals. 3. Be able to evaluate the strategic role of HRM in a global changeable, environment.
