Strength of Materials

The lessons have been designed to explain the behaviour of linear elastic bodies and the implementation of of these fundementals in strength calculations.

Objectives

The objectives of this course is to introduce to the students the fundumentals of the science of Stress Analysis so that they may be able to calculate load bearing members under the most common loading situations and also to determine the deflections caused by these loads.
