Design and Evaluation of Educational Software

The development of educational software based on a coherent interdisciplinary approach is placed at the point of convergence of different science and technology (science education, teaching, cognitive science, computer science, software engineering, multimedia, artificial intelligence, etc.). Emphasis is given on software design based on specific training, learning and teaching objectives, priorities and requirements of students and teachers. Pedagogical and technological evaluation of educational software is also discussed.

Objectives

The aim of the course is to sensitize students to interdisciplinary field that is related to the computational support of the learning process, to introduce the basic concepts and analyze issues in the planning process, implementation, documentation and evaluation of educational software.

Prerequisites

For attending and understanding the course "Introduction to Web Science" there are no prerequisites courses.
