Financial Statement Analysis


In an economic environment that is changing rapidly, there is a greater need for business managers, analysts, bankers, portfolio managers, investors, to be properly prepared and take the right decisions for creating values. The main objective of this course is to assist the above executives achieving their strategic goals.


Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, the student should: • 1. Acquire sufficient knowledge to evaluate business plans. • 2. analyze financial statements and understand their usefulness information and decision making. • 3. Gain the ability to draw conclusions with regard to liquidity, capital structure efficiency, creditworthiness etc of business through the analysis of financial statements. • 4. Gain the ability of comparing successive financial statements and statements of different enterprises in order to identifying problems and highlighting advantages or disadvantages. • 5. Evaluates investment under certainty and risk.
