Ideologies, attitudes, symbolic power: the case of Greece 1830 - 1920


The course examines the major ideologies and attitudes that emerged in Greek society and expressed in political or social demands, during the formation of Hellenism in statehood, 19th century - early 20th century These ideologies and Attitudes will also be analyzed, as "Realized "symbols of state power, as national anniversaries and all kinds of public festivals and ceremonies. The main interpretative axis is the relative "independence" of ideological, mental and symbolic phenomena in context, however, the political and economic reality of the time.
