This course starts with teaching of the anatomy of the completely edentulous mouth and continues with the clinical and laboratory procedures required for the fabrication of complete dentures. The course provides to the students the theoretical clinical and laboratory knowledge required for the construction of functional complete dentures.
The main objective of the course is to present to the student the basic elements clinical and laboratory procedures of complete denture construction, to prepare them for the clinical treatment of the completely edentulous patient. Upon successful completion of the course, students should know the theoretical part of the construction of complete dentures and be familiar with the handling of the materials used for this purpose.
