Business strategy (Financing SMEs)


Examination of financing strategies of SMEs other than bank financing. In particular, microcredits, crowd funding, funding through angels and venture capital, mixed funding (public and private), funding copyrights, guarantee loans.


Objectives

Upon completion of the course students have a full picture of the strategy may choose an SME on the financing, especially infor this bank loan.

Introduction to financial institutions.


Syllabus

Micro loans, here the philosophy discussed, micro loans, historical development, the system of micro financing, who takes part, what benefit, micro loans in Europe and in Greece. The crowd funding philosophy is examined, finance crowd, evolution, species crowd funding categories, how the system works, what part, what benefit the crowd funding in the world and in Greece. Financing through angels and venture. Explained conceptually how they finance their development, who participate, that these forms of financing function, what is going on, what forms and what steps are. The mixed funding (public and private). Here we consider the various public intervention ways, European Union and Greece, financing of investment programs and other non-investment programs to support SMEs. What are the programs, what are the funding sources and citing several examples. Loan guarantees. Here examines the concept of security, development of the historical, how it works in different countries, what are the systems guaranteeing, what form they take. Financing copyrights. Here reference is made of copyright in the various forms they have. How does any form of copyright and financial matters arise. Financing of business internationalization. Here are examined various forms it takes this internationalization and ways you can funded.
