Investment Evaluation


The purpose of this course is to understand basic concepts regarding to target financial management, understanding the financial environment in which business operates and the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge for the proper methodology to be followed for the evaluation of investments in fixed assets in conditions certainly, estimate the cost of Capital and risk management under uncertainty.


Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to: • Know the objective of the business in terms of financial management. • Understand the time value of money • Have knowledge of different evaluation methods of investment in fixed assets in conditions certainly. • Be able to calculate the cost of capital of the company. • Analyze the risk management under uncertainty. • Calculate the cash flows of the investment programs. • Analyze and calculates the cost of funding sources, using appropriate models. • Forecast the financing needs of the company.


Prerequisites

Basic accounting and mathematical knowledge. There are no prerequisite courses
