Theories of Urban Planning


The course examines the theoretical approaches and concepts of urban development and the key issues concerning the practices and methods of urban planning. The lectures given by the teaching staff and invited speakers and the relevant discussions in the classroom are the basic inputs for the exams. The evaluation of students is based upon written exams on issues included in the proposed books as well as the presentations and the discussions that will take place during the course.
