Mycological diseases of tree and vine

Cultivation of fruit trees and grape vine covers large areas distributed in several parts of the country. For certain of these areas these cultivations are the unique income source for the growers. The yearly growers’ income and the country’s benefit for exports of these products are considerably high. Diseases of these crops are an important production and quality factor, and it is known that a proportion of the yield is lost annually due to diseases. Among causal agents fungi are perhaps the most important because many of them cause economically important losses. This particular course covers topics regarding the symptoms, causes, conditions of development and control of disease caused by fungi on fruit trees and grapevine.
