These technologies aim at providing a universal broadband access to fixed and mobile nodes, providing them the opportunity to have direct access to information anytime and anywhere,

Introduction, Basic Trends, Wireless Channel, Multiple Access Protocols, GSM, GPRS, 3G, LTE/4G, Fixed and Mobile Networks Convergence, Wireless LANs, WiFi (IEEE 802.11), Wireless Broadband Access, WiMac (IEEE 802.16), Mobile Network protocols, Mobile Transport Protocols.
