Enterprise Resource Planning


The course aims to present the student the concepts of integrated planning businesses using integrated information systems . More specifically, the Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning) are essentially the acquisition and integration through the redesign of business processes Information Systems Enterprise ( ISE) .


Objectives

Upon completion of the course the student is able to: 1. Describe the basic philosophy and architecture of Business Information Systems. 2. Describe and explain the structure of the BIS. 3. Be familiar with the basic parts of a BIS. 4. To analyze and describe the impact of the BIS function of an organism and its environment. 5. Describe and use basic technologies support a system BIS. 6. To understand the capacity development processes and integration, and synchronization skills of business processes to developing a strategic competitive advantage. 7. To recognize, describe and link the main characteristics of a system BIS with the problems and development opportunities in the organization. 8. To recognize , describe and link the possibilities of using a BIS with the transformation of the organization's processes. 9. Understand and be able to use a modern BIS.
