Cafe des Sciences

Everything is under a continuous change On cosmological scale the universe is continually expanding, indicating that it originated from a “big bang” On the biological scale, life started from a single cell, with more complex organisms appearing as time evolves On the scale of human evolution, the appearance of human language led afterwards to human civilization and the last two centuries to the rapid growth of technology Important questions are raised. Are there any elements binding these very different processes together into a universal evolution? What is the driving force of this overwhelming continuous change? Are we in the threshold of a “posthuman” phase? We plan to discuss these issues in the friendly atmosphere of a café
