Management and Project Management Principles


This course is the basic introductory course on concepts and project management and project management processes. This course aims to introduce students to the basic concepts of project management, connecting the concept of the project with their respective business objectives and the corresponding business / economic environment and an understanding of the whole picture of the project and the requirements for the effective management of . Also refers to concepts and project management methodologies and their position during the lifecycle of a project, so that the student must have an overall understanding of the procedures and methodologies in project management. In this sense the course is the basis on which specific methodologies and project management techniques developed in separate specific courses of direction.


Objectives

The objective of the course is the understanding by students of the importance of project management in the modern economy and the transformation of the management and project management into a distinct scientific field / profession.
