Fluid Mechanics I


Properties of fluids. Basic equations. Hydrostatic, hydrostatic forces, buoyancy, flotation. Kinematics of fluids, Euler relations and Bernoulli. Dynamics of fluids, forces due to the motion of fluids. The number Reynolds, smooth & amp; turbulent flow. Flow in closed conduits. Fluid measurement instruments.


Objectives

Introduction and basic knowledge of fluid dynamics. Connection with thermodynamics. Training basic analysis and calculation of pressure forces relations mathematics, gravity and friction caused to structures from fluid flow.
