Developmental Psychology II


At first outlined some key aspects of the history of the study of childhood and adolescence and its configuration as a separate age stages. Then they presented and covered the following topics: biological development cognitive development emotional development the development of relationships with parents, peers and other adults school education and development puberty and experience the emergence of self and sexual identity developmental problems in adolescence (eating disorders, self-image, violence and delinquent behavior, unwanted pregnancy, suicide) Contemporary issues in child and adolescent development (the impact of technological evolution, the media, the internet and characteristics of modern multicultural societies and metaneoterikon).
