• Protocols and protocol architecture. • OSI Reference Model in • Internet programming and applications. • Broadcast packets. Packages and fault detection. • Technologies - protocols - topologies LAN (Algorithm CSMA / CD, • Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, 10G Ethernet). • LAN cabling. Extending the LAN with Bridges, Switches 2nd level (Layer 2 Switches), repeaters, optical modem. • Communication and Computer Networks: Basic Concepts, architecture and protocols, IP addresses, ARP, IPv6, TCP, UDP, NAT. Routing IP packets. • Web Applications: Interaction client-server, DNS, SMTP, and HTTP. Telephony over IP. Dynamic and active pages, ASP, PHP, Java, JavaScript. Safety on the Internet.
