Conceptual data models: the entity-relationship model. In-depth presentation of the SQL language. Extraction of data from databases and statistical analysis. Hypothesis testing, regression, OLAP. Databases over the internet. Application with MySQL/R.


Objectives

Familiarization with databases and statistical applications. Basic knowledge of the SQL language and ability to develop applications using MySQL/R.
