HISTORY OF GREECE UNDER VENETIAN CONQUEST (AD I3th-I8th c.)


The political and social developments in Romagna after the conquest of the city by the Franks (1204). The Frankish principalities and their relations with the Empire until 1453. Their relations with despots. Their relations with the West. The Venetian dominions in Crete and the Ionian Islands (until 1797).

Students are asked to familiarize themselves with the new political and cultural realities that followed the fall of 1204
