Sociolinguistics - Plurilingualism


The students become familiar with the basic notions of Sociolinguistics, especially with the topics of bilingualism, plurilingualism, code switching and sociolinguistic representations. Moreover, there is a detailed reference to the research methods used in Sociolinguistics.


Objectives

The aim of this course is to make the students understand the notions of the scientific field of plurilingualism and plurilingual education. The object of the proposed reflexivity activities is the development of the reflexive competence of the learners, which contributes not only to the understanding but also to the practice of these notions in the educational action.
