Biochemistry


The course aims at introducing the science of biochemistry. Among the topics that the course addresses are included the amino acids, proteins, peptide chains, enzyme inhibitors, amino acid composition, and protein composition. The module also deals with DNA metabolism, energy metabolism, oxygen metabolism, and lipid metabolism. Finally, the course offers a detailed description of the processes of carbohydrate degradation and carbohydrate composition.
