History of the Greek government, with references to the legislative framework and the archival remains of activity at national level. The organization of the Greek communities of the Ottoman period, the transition from local authorities in local and then national polity, the administrative organization of Kapodistrian and Othonikis period. The further development course of the three grades of administration at regional and local level are analyzed and interpreted through the general political, social and economic context of their development. The administrative structure of the Cretan and Samiakis State as well as the Ionian State are also investigated
