Post-Harvest Handling of agricultural products


The course aims to acquaint the students with the basic principles of post-harvest technology of fruit and vegetables. Moreover learn the causes to create losses in the post harvest period and deepen the morphological and physiological characteristics of fruit and vegetables and the changes in their metabolism after harvest. Finally to know the quality control of fruit and vegetables as well as the ways in which quality can be maintained during storage.
